Privacy policy

Effective September 1, 2026. Setly is made by Servora (Aryan Veluru), Austin, Texas.

What we collect

• Account: your Apple sign-in identifier, the display name Apple shares (optional), and the handle you choose.
• Your shows: the concerts and festivals you track, festival sets you pick, and any note or ticket reference you type. Ticket references, sections, and notes are never shown to anyone but you.
• Friends: friend requests, accepted friendships, blocks, and reports.
• Crowd reports: when you tap "Doors open" or "They're on", we store that you did, at that time, for that show.
• Device: a push-notification token so we can send alerts you turned on.

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers. There are no ads and no trackers.

How it is used

To show your shows, send the alerts you chose, let accepted friends see which shows you are going to and your festival schedule, and to improve set-time estimates from aggregated crowd reports. Public schedule links only exist when you create one, and can be revoked in the app.

Sharing

We share nothing with third parties except the infrastructure that runs the app (Supabase for the database, Apple for push notifications). Event and venue data comes from Ticketmaster, ticketing pages, official festival schedules, setlist.fm, MusicBrainz, and weather services; none of them receive anything about you.

Your rights

Delete your account any time in Settings, or from this page. Deletion removes every row tied to your account within 24 hours. Email aryanveluru@gmail.com for a data export or any question.

Children

Setly is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13.

Public profile

Off by default. If you turn it on in Settings (18 and over), a page at our site shows your name, photo, handle, the shows you marked as attended, and a few totals. It never shows upcoming plans, friends, tickets, seats, notes, or location. Turn it off any time and the page disappears.

Usage counts

Setly records simple usage events in its own database, such as the app opening, a show being added, or a share being made, along with a random device id and your account id if you are signed in. We use them to see which features people use and whether they come back. No advertising identifiers, no third-party analytics, no pixels, and nothing is sold or shared.

Suggestions

If you connect Apple Music or share a Spotify playlist, the list of artists is built on your phone and stays there. When Setly looks for shows to suggest, it sends those artist names and, if you set one, your city to our server for matching. Neither is stored. Using your location is a one-time request that turns into a city name on the phone; coordinates never leave the device.
